Joyful is a word that comes to mind when partnering with KYL to create a welcoming space for clients and employees at the new home of this San Francisco law office. While the second floor is reserved for attorneys and administrative staff, the ground floor and lower level were conceived as a very public facing entertaining and event space.

The ground floor includes a concierge counter, a central lounge area for casual meetings and conference room for more formal meetings where privacy is required. The open lounge area also includes a monumental circular stair providing a fluid connection to the lower level which includes a café, bar and lounge for afterhours entertaining and events.

While the ground floor boasts floor to ceiling glazing on two sides, street trees restrict the amount of natural light available. To counteract this finish selection is clean, bright, contemporary including white Carrera marble and bleached oak floors. Generous amounts of lighting help create a vibrant and luminous jewel of a space.
