FORTUNE 500
CORPORATION
Located downtown Seattle, Brereton worked in collaboration with a Fortune 100 international company that occupies 26 floors. This three-phase project, both office and auxiliary spaces gave the design team an opportunity to encourage a collaborative working environment and allow access to the beautiful views throughout the building. Being inspired by these surroundings, the design team took cues from the office location to bring in natural elements, textures and colors.

Being on so many floors the client wanted to create a sense of community for their employees. A place to gather for meetings, events and for employees to get away from their desks. These collaborative spaces were created throughout the tenant floors and were extended to the café and conferencing/community floor.
Brereton identified the café as one of those area where this concept could be continued. Residing between the tenant floors, it has become not only for a place to share food but to partake in both formal and casual meetings. The layout of the space encourages individuals to explore, and find various seating configurations, as well as views of the city. Whether you want to have a one on one or a large group meet, the furniture and architecture created different venues to meet those needs. This allows more engagement between teams and various departments. It created a common space where they could meet to share ideas and be inspired by their surroundings.
Another location where this was highlighted is in the Atrium. This two-story space has become a unique space for the employees and the building. With the design of two Pop-up food stations, and the various seating options, employees gather for social events, partake in both formal and casual meetings, and use the pop-up stations to hold team building and company events. This allows more engagement between teams and various departments
